Nicole Pagan - Photographer

We got a chance to chat with Photographer Nicole Pagan who glowed with ambition when speaking about photography. Having courage to move all the way from Puerto Rico to Boston to pursue her dreams definitely makes her a Grae artist in our eyes. Taking a look through Nicole’s photographs really painted the picture she is trying to portray.

-Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I’m a 22 year old creative freelance photographer based in Puerto Rico, But I’m currently living in Boston, MA pursuing my dreams.

I’m a creative soul that enjoys capturing visions often inspired by my imagination and daydreams. My photography speaks for itself. I pretend to escape from the real world every time I have my camera on my hands, It’s my kind of freedom, how I express myself. I love to capture emotions not moments. I don’t just capture, I create. I specialize in conceptual portraits. In my work you will find emotion, dreams and a lot of imagination an image of what escaping from the real world might look like. I do hair, makeup and styling in almost every of my photo shoots I put my all.

We wanted to explore how our five senses affects our art and the world around us. For our sense of hearing, we got to interview talented musician Mikey Pauker. For our sense of feel, we have a creative writing piece by Portlan Beckman. For our sense of sight we are taken through the treasures of Red Velvet and their love and passion for all things vintage. You will come to see that what we have for our sense of taste is a real treat. Make sure to also check out all the talented artists who have contributed to this month’s issue!
